Tree spree: 100,000 Whitebark Pine seedlings sprout at Nupqu Native Plant Nursery
Last updated onThe West Path Program’s Foothills 2023 Elko section’s investment in the modernization and expansion of the Nupqu Native Plant Nursery has produced its yield with nursery construction near completion. With added space and facilities, the nursery is now positioned to grow 100,000 Whitebark Pine seedlings with the aim to restore the threatened tree species in southeastern B.C.
